453: Malcolm Macritchie
Calum Choinnich Dhòmhnaill
Malcolm (1856-1933) was a son of Kenneth Macritchie and Henrietta Macritchie, 9 Gravir.
At Stornoway, in 1887, he married Ann MacPhail of 19 Gravir. Malcolm and Ann were Cottars at 9 Gravir and they had six children, only five of whom survived.
The family were evicted from 9 Gravir and settled on common grazing opposite croft 33 Gravir.
Malcolm was widowed in 1904.
