Catherine (1840-1902) was a daughter of Donald Maclennan and Effie Macdonald of 9b Old Lemreway. The village was cleared and in 1843 the family were removed to 9 Arivruach.
In Lochs, in 1866, she married Kenneth Kennedy, 14 Arivruach. Catherine and Kenneth settled at 14b Arivruach and they had ten children.
Catherine's brother, Malcolm, married Kenneth's sister, Christina.
