Margaret (1799-1871) was a daughter of Donald Macleod and Catherine Macleod, 16 Old Lemreway.
In Lochs, in 1824, she married Murdo Mackenzie, Old Orinsay. Margaret and Murdo settled at 1 Old Orinsay and they had eight children.
The family were removed to 25 Crossbost in 1843.
Margaret died of Tuberculosis which she had had for six years.
