Iain Iain Mhurchaidh
John (1885-1980) was the youngest child of John Macaulay and Catherine Ferguson, 19 Tobson. The family later moved to 1 Hacklete.
In 1905, he emigrated to Canada and in Manitoba, in 1912, he married Flora Maclean formerly of Iochdar, South Uist. The couple initially settled in Winnipeg and later moved to Victoria, British Columbia. The couple had at least two children.
John was widowed in 1970.
