59882: John Carmichael
John Carmichael (1905-1984) was a son of Donald Carmichael and Ann Montgomery, 26 Lemreway. The family also lived at Steimreway.
In Lochs, in 1939, he married Donaldina Nicolson, 15 Lemreway. John and Donaldina settled at 26 Lemreway and they had three children.
On his return from War service, Iain built a house on the common grazing at Lon Ban, outside Lemreway. After several years, he moved to Outend Lemreway to the extension of croft No 26 and built yet another substantial stone house, the third in his lifetime.
