8224: Donald Macaulay
Donald (born 1875) was a son of John Macaulay and Catherine Ferguson of 19 Tobson. When Hacklete was populated in 1880 Donald’s family moved from 19 Tobson to 1 Hackete.
In 1904 Donald married Ann Macdonald; the couple had four children.
When he married Donald went to live at 17 Kirkibost with the Murdo Macaulay’s family, none of whom were married nor had children. Donald inherited this croft.
