90752: Catherine Macdonald
Catherine (1837-1874) was the daughter of William Macdonald and Margaret Maclennan; the family were cottars in Old South Tolsta.
In 1851, during the croft lottings, the family obtained 1 North Tolsta.
Catherine married John Campbell, of 54 North Tolsta, the couple settled at 54 North Tolsta and had one daughter. Catherine died the year her daughter was born, possibly in childbirth.
After Catherine’s death her widower married again and had eight more children.
