91384: Bess Maciver

Bess (1820-1904) was the daughter of Evander Maciver and Christina Maclean. The address at the time of her birth is not known, but there are links to Gress through her mother, and to Old South Tolsta Tack through her father.

In 1830 the family obtained 3 Old North Tolsta.

On August 14th 1939 Bess married Roderick Maciver, of 22 Old South Tolsta, and the couple settled at 22 Old South Tolsta and had three children.

In the 1851 croft relottings, the family obtained 25 North Tolsta and a further four children were born there. In total the couple had seven children: one girl and six boys.
