In Glasgow, in 1966, she married Charles Mackinnon Campbell of Tiree.

After Charles's retirement as a stonemason, Charles and Christina moved to Bernera to live at 1 Hacklete with Christina's sister, Catherine.

Christina was the district nurse in Bernera for a number of years and, as she did not have a driving licence, Charles drove her to visit all her patients.

Christina and Charles did not have any children.
