The first tenant of 22 North Tolsta was Alexander Macdonald, 28 Lower Bayble.

22 North Tolsta passed to Donald Murray and in due course the croft passed to his son-in-law, William Macleod.

William Macleod was initially a cottar at 22 North Tolsta and then the croft was passed to him by his wife's parents. In due course 22 North Tolsta passed his wife's brother-in-law. Donald Murray.

Donald Murray passed  22 North Tolsta to his son, Murdo who passed it to his son. His sister also settled on a feued off section of 22 North Tolsta.
