Alasdair Iain
Alexander (1814-1884) was the son of John Macdonald or Macphail and Margaret Stewart of 28 Lower Bayble.
He married Christina Maclean of Bayble. Alexander and Christina lived 28 Bayle and they had no children.
Alexander was widowed in 1843 and later married Christina Macleod of 24 Old South Tolsta. The couple spent their early marriage at 28 Lower Bayble and in the 1851 re-lotting obtained 22 North Tolsta.
His father died and Alexander inherited 28 Bayble which he split with his sister, Mary. Alexander was at 28a and Mary at 28b.
Alexander and Christina had four children.
