25 Tolastadh bho Thuath
25 North Tolsta was a new croft in 1851. The first tenant was Roderick Maciver, 22 Old South Tolsta an in due course 25 North Tolsta passed to his son, Alex. Two of his other sons, Angus and John lived as cottars at 25 North Tolsta.
Alex Maciver passed 25 North Tolsta to his youngest son, Angus Maciver who passed the croft to his eldest son, Donald Maciver. He never married and in due course 25 North Tolsta passed to Donald C Macleod, of Carnan Ban.
The house is now demolished
Angus and John Maciver settled as a cottar at 25 North Tolsta. The cottars house was a thatched house opposite the Free Presbyterian Church. In due course the cottars house passed to John's daughter, Kate who did not marry.
The house at 25 North Tolsta was eventually demolished.
