75 North Tolsta was a newly lotted croft in 1874. Murdo Macleod, Camilla Maclennan and their children: Margaret, Ann, John, Gormelia, Ann and Catherine. It is not clear if the couple's second child was still alive at the time of the move. The family had previously been living as cottars at 60 North Tolsta. Murdo's sister, Gormelia, became a cottar on the croft, but in due course 75 North Tolsta passed to their son, John.

John Macleod married Margaret Macleod of 8 Fivepenny, Ness and they had three children: Ann, Camilla, and Mary Ann. Their daughter Ann married and settled as a cottar on the croft. In due course 75 North Tolsta passed to Murdo Smith.

Murdo Smith of 65 North Tolsta was married to Margaret Graham of 71 Coll. They had six children: Ann, Donald, Christina, John, Peggy and Kate. Their daughter, Christina married and settled as a cottar on the croft. In due course 75 North Tolsta passed to their eldest son, Donald.

Donald Smith married Margaret Campbell of 7 North Tolsta, and the couple had a son, Alexander Angus. The family feued off the croft house and sold it to a family from Yorkshire. They built a new house on the croft which they called Creagard. In due course 75 North Tolsta passed to their son, Alexander.

Alexander Angus Smith never married.

Cottars

Gormelia Macleod settled as a cottar on her brother, Murdo's croft.

Donald Macdonald of Idrigil, Skye was married to Ann Macleod and they had three children: John, Ann and John.

Christina Smith married John Maciver of 64 North Tolsta and they had three children: a boy and two girls. At some point the cottars house was feued off from the croft and renamed 75 Hill Street.
