Iain Mhurchaidh Ruairidah
John (1863-1904) was the son of Murdo Macleod and Campbel Maclennan, cottars at 60 North Tolsta. In 1874 they obtained 75 North Tolsta as a newly lotted croft.
He married Margaret Macleod of 8 Fivepenny, Ness. The couple settled at 75 North Tolsta and they had three daughters.
