The first occupants of Westview, North Tolsta were Andrew Finlayson and Margaret Campbell and their four children: Lilian, Katie Ann, Dolina and William John. In due course the house passed to their daughter, Lillian.

Lillian Finlayson was married to Andrew Mackenzie. The couple had three children. The house was sold to Donald Macleod.

Donald Macleod was married to Gormelia Murray and they had three children. In due course the house passed to their eldest son, Donald.

Donald Macleod never married.
