The first occupants of 82 School Road were Donald Maciver and Margaret Macleod. Between 1901 and 1913 the couple had seven children: Angus, Annie, Mary, Joan, Angus, Mary and Donald. In 1922 the family obtained 18 Gress and 82 School Road passed to Margaret's brother, Angus.

Angus Macleod was married to Margaret Macleod and the couple had eight children before they settled at 82 School Road. At least one of their children had already died young, prior to the move, but their children Catherine, Mary, Angus, Angus, Norman and Christina are known to have lived there. Their final child, Donald, who died in infancy was born at 82 School Road. In due course 82 School Road passed to their son, Angus.

Angus Macleod married Gormelia Macdonald, but the couple had no children. At some point Angus moved to 4 Airidh a Bhreide, but it is not known if Gormelia was still living for this move. At this time 82 School Road passed to his sister, Christina. 

Christina Macleod was married in Glasgow and sold the house to a woman from Stornoway.
