111407: Sandy Bay, 24 North Tolsta

The croft house at 24 North Tolsta was named, Sandy Bay, when it was passed from Mary Smith to her cousin, Donald Smith.

Donald Smith married Catherine Morrison and the couple had five children. After Donald Smith's death the croft and house were split, with Sandy Bay being sold to a man from Stornoway and the croft passing to their daughter, Janet.

The house has been re-named several times since. Initially as Coseyden and recently as Rooter Tooter.
