9 Old Mid Borve was probably lotted around 1814, but the first list of tenants for Old Mid Borve is not available until 1819.
In 1819 the tenant is recorded as Donald Macleod (1760-1845) and he passed the croft to his youngest son, Murdo (born 1801).
When Old Mid Borve was cleared in 1853 the family emigrated to Huron Township, Bruce County, Ontario.
