The first tenant of this croft was Murdo Macarthur (1802-1877) Murchadh Iain, and he passed 20 Cromore to his son, John Macarthur (1832-1903) Iain Mhurchaidh Iain. John passed the croft to his son, Alexander Macarthur (1873-1913) Alasdair Iain Mhurchaidh.
