Aonghas Alasdair Mhurchaidh
Angus (1894-1973) was a son of Alexander Macarthur and Ann Mackenzie and a twin of John Murdo,10 Cromore.
He served as a Lance Corporal in the Seaforth Highlanders in the First World War. His name is included in Loyal Lewis: Roll of Honour 1914-1918.
In Essex, in 1922, he married Violet Louise Walker from Hampshire. Angus and Violet Louise later emigrated to New Zealand and settled at Wellington. The couple had four children.
The couple are buried together in Karori Cemetery, Wellington.
