The first tenant of 2 Borrowston was Angus Macleod (1782-1877) Aonghas Iain 14 Old Borrowston and formerly of Scapraid. The next tenant of the croft was John Macleod (1821-1911) Iain Thormoid Chaluim from 13/14 Borrowston and he passed 2 Borrowston to his son, John Macleod (born 1852) Iain Iain Thormoid. John passed the croft to his son, John Macleod (born 1883) Iain Iain Iain  and he passed it to his bachelor son, Norman Macleod Tormod Iain Iain.
