72310: John Macleod
John (1821-1911) was a son of Norman Macleod and Margaret Macarthur, 4 Old Borrowston. In the 1850 re-lotting the family obtained 13/14 Borrowston.
He married Catherine Macleod of 7 Borrowston. John became the tenant of 2 Borrowston when Angus Macarthur emigrated to Canada with his family in 1855. John and Catherine had four children.
John died of old age at 90.
