Norman (b1791-1874) was the first tenant of 13/14 Borrowston. He married Margaret Macarthur; the couple resided at 13/14 Borrowston and had seven children.

The tenants of 3 Borrowston (Donald Macleod) and 10 Borrowston (John Macleod) may have been Norman’s brothers, but this is not certain.
