Duncan (1830-1861) was a son of Norman Macleod and Margaret Macarthur, 4 Old Borrowston. In the 1850 re-lotting the family obtained 13/14 Borrowston

He married Christina Macarthur, 8 Tolsta Chaolais. The couple lived at 13 Borrowston and they had two children. Duncan died aged 31.
