1169: Marion Smith
Marion (born 1914) was a daughter of Kenneth Smith and Christina Mackay, 1 Earshader. Her father was lost in the Iolare Disaster in 1919.
She became a nurse and was stationed in Brue throughout the Second World War and also worked on district in Bernera for a short time.
After her marriage to John Macleod from Brue she settled in Brue where they raised three of a family.
