2339: Hugh Macleod
Hugh (1837-1905) was a son of Angus Macleod and Annabella Smith. He was the last person to run West Earshader as a farm. For a while Scaliscro Estate owned West Earshader, and had a house where the old farmhouse used to stand. Occupants were said to have seen the ghost of Hugh or Uisdean.
