A rental of 1814 shows six tenants: John Smith, Donald Nicolson, Kenneth Mackinnon, Donald Macrae, John Macleod and Donald Smith.

In 1920 the tenants were: Angus Smith, Donald Macdonald, John Macleod, Donald Macrae, John Smith and Donald Smith.

The 1841 Census shows two shepherds in the area: Donald Mackinnon, Harris and Malcolm Macaskill.
