Iain Iain Dhonnchaidh
John (1895-1963), was the son of John Macleod and Catherine Paterson, 21 Upper Carloway.
He married Christina Macarthur, 32 Upper Carloway. In 1926, John with his wife and three children emigrated to Canada and they lived in Windsor, Ontario. The family returned to Lewis in 1929 due to the Great Depression and settled at Heatherview, Carloway.
