111916: John MacCuish

Iain Dhomhnaill Iain

John  (1847-1882) was the son of Donald MacCuish and Margaret MacDonald.  The family lived on 2 Malaclete, but were removed to Langass in 1851. The following year the family emigrated to Australia on the SS Hercules, transferred to SS Olivia and landed in Adelaide.

In 1868 he married Charlotte Eleanor Bevan from South Australia. They lived at Moonta, South Australia and they had a large family.

John died aged 35.
