Donald (born 1849) was a son of Norman Macaulay and Annabella Mackenzie,  7 Crossbost.  He married  Christina Mackinnon from 8a Ranish. Donald and Christina settled at 7 Crossbost and they had three children.

Donald was widowed and later married Catherine Macleod from 6 Ranish. Donald and Catherine lived at 7 Crossbost and they had no family.
