Allan (born 1851) was a son of Colin Macdonald and Kirsty Mackenzie, 20 Old Leurbost and latterly 17 Leurbost. Allan married Kirsty Mackenzie from 11 Leurbost. The couple settled at 17 Leurbost where Allan became a cottar on the croft.
