Annabella (1834-1920) was a daughter of Farquhar Smith and his first wife Kirsty Mackinnon, 24 Old Leurbost and latterly 49 Leurbost. Annabella became the second wife of Donald Mackinnon, 2 Grimshader. The couple settled at 2 Grimshader where Donald became a cottar on the croft. The couple had five children.
