Kirsty (1817-1890) was a daughter of Duncan Martin and Margaret Maciver, 15 Old Leurbost. Her mother died in 1822 and his father married Ann Mackenzie. The family later moved to 15 Leurbost.
Kirsty married Murdo Macleod from 33 Old Leurbost. The couple settled at 56 Leurbost and they had nine children. Kirsty was widowed in 1873.
