112414: Angus Macdonald

Angus (1873-1919) was a son of Allan Macdonald and Mary Macleod, 42 Leurbost. Angus married Mary Mackenzie from 12 Grimshader. The couple settled at 42 Leurbost. During WW1 Angus served in the Royal Naval Reserve. Angus drowned during the sinking HMY Iolaire in 1919. For more information see the Lewis Memorial site.
