Catherine (born 1868) was a daughter of Alexander Macdonald and Marion Maclean who lived on the divided portion of the croft at 22 Crossbost numbered 22b. Catherine married Colin Macleod from 7 Ranish. The couple settled at 7 Ranish where Colin became a cottar on the croft.
