Iain Chaluim Aonghais
John (1813-1885) was the son of Malcolm Maciver and Marion Maclennan of 15 Old Coll.
He married Margaret Murray of 9 Old North Tolsta. In 1841 the couple obtained 41 Old Coll which was a newly lotted croft in 1841.
In 1844 the family moved to 8 Laxdale, John and Margaret had four children.
