115965: John Maciver

John Maciver (1758-1853) lived in Coll Tacks. The name of his first wife is not known, but the couple had two children. By 1807 the family were living at 13 Old Coll.

In 1811 he married widow, Mrs Catherine Murray nee Mackenzie from Coll. The couple lived at 13 Old Coll and they had a son, Kenneth.

In 1851, during the croft re-lotting, John and his son, Alexander took on a joint tenancy at 32 Coll.
