Marion (1840-1929) was the eldest daughter of Malcolm Macleod and Margaret Smith, 64 Balallan.

At Crossbost, in 1864, she married Donald Macleod, 39 Balallan. Marion and Donald settled at 39a Balallan and they had ten children.

Marion was widowed in 1903.
