Mary (1867-1963) was the daughter of Donald Smith and Mary Macaulay of 13 Tong.
In 1891 Mary married Malcolm Macleod of 25 Aird Tong. In 1895 Mary and Malcolm obtained 5 Tong and settled there. The couple had six children. Several of their daughters emigrated to the United States of America. Mary and Malcolm raised their granddaughter, Annie, after Annie's mother, Catherine Ann emigrated.
Mary was widowed in 1954.
