116959: Mary Macleod

Mary (1797-1867) was the daughter of John Macleod who was from Aird. Sometime after 1807 the family became cottars at 18 Old Coll, her brother-in-law's croft.

She married Donald Maciver of 20 Old Coll. In 1829 the family obtained 23 Old Coll, as a newly lotted croft. Mary and Donald had five children and in 1851, during the croft re-lotting, the family obtained 46 Coll.

Mary was widowed in 1863.
