Murchadh Dhonnchaidh

Murdo (1823-1898) was the son of Duncan Stewart and Ann Macfarlane. By 1833 the family were living at 18 Old Back.

Murdo married Christina Graham of 41 Old Back. The couple lived at 18 Old Back where they had five of their eight children.

In 1858, during the croft re-lotting, his parents obtained 17 Back. In 1865, after the death of  his father, 17 Back was split and Murdo obtained 17a Back.
