Donnchaidh Sheorais

Duncan (1778-1865) was the son of George Stewart of Back Tack.

Duncan married Ann Macfarlane of Gress Tack and they had eight children.

There is a list of Lord Seaforth's kelp workers from 1810 that lists a Duncan Stewart living in Gress and Back Tack, but it can not be certain it is him. 

By 1833 his parents had obtained 18 Old Back and in 1858 the family obtained 17 Back.
