Jane (1829-1899) was the daughter of Norman Beaton and Ann Macrae, 16 Old Vatisker. In the 1850 re-lotting the family obtained 15 Vatisker.

In 1851 she married Neil Macdonald of 25 Coll. The couple settled at 15 Vatisker and they had eight children. 

Jane was widowed in 1897.
