Allan (born 1858) was a son of Norman Martin and Marion Morrison, 59 Back.

He was one of the Gress Raiders. He obtained 7 Gress as a newly lotted croft, in 1922, but he moved to Gress prior to the official lotting and was moved, by the Board of Agriculture, to the banks of Gress River in Back and provided with a temporary corrugated dwelling. When he moved to 7 Gress he dismantled this dwelling and rebuilt it on the croft.

Allan married Christina Macdonald, 15 Aird, Point. The couple lived at 7 Gress.
