Seumas Alasdair Iain
James (born 1871) was the son of Alexander Maciver and Catherine Thomson, cottars in Aird Tong. In 1880 the family obtained 33 Aird Tong as a newly lotted croft.
He married Margaret Morrison of 10 Coll.
James was widowed and later married Isabella Macleod of 21 Aird Tong.
In 1902 his father died and 33 Aird Tong passed to James.
