118849: Donald Macinnes

Donald Macinness was from Drumfearn, Sleat, Isle of Skye. Hen was the  police constable in Uig from 1920-1927 and was transferred to Back.

He married Flora Canning in 1922 and they had five children. They lived at the police house at Miavaig, which had been built in 1908, complete with cell. Duncan was the last constable to be stationed at Miavaig.
