Calum Dhomhnaill Thormoid
Malcolm (1811-1864) was the son of Donald Martin and Ann Macleod. In 1814 the family were settled at 14 Old Melbost Borve and in 1818 the family obtained 9 Portvoller.
He married Christina Macleod, of Brue. The couple settled at 13 Portvoller and they had six children.
In 1850 his widowed sister, Catherine and her three children left 11 Old South Tolsta and settled as cottars on his croft.
Malcolm was widowed in 1859.
