Donald (1780-1864) was the son of Norman Martin, Old Melbost Borve.

He married Ann Macleod and in 1814 they obtained 14 Old Melbost, Borve where they had two of their five children In 1818 the family obtained 9 Portvoller.

Donald was widowed in 1861
