Catriona Dhomhnaill Tharmoid
Catherine (1815-1885) was the daughter of Donald Martin and Ann Macleod of 14 Old Melbost Borve. In 1818 the family moved to 9 Portvoller.
She married Kenneth Macdonald of 6 Aird. In 1842 the family obtained 11 Old South Tolsta. Catherine and Kenneth had three children.
In 1850 she was widowed and Catherine and her children settled as cottars on 13 Portvoller, which was her brother, Malcolm's croft.
