John Allan (born 1920) was a son of Donald Mackenzie and Henrietta Macleod, 15 Lower Bayble. The family later moved to 62 Lower Bayble.
In Blythswood, Glasgow, in 1945, he married Kennethina Mackenzie, 7 Marvig. John Allan and Kennethina emigrated to Australia in 1954 and then to Auckland, New Zealand in March 1959. The couple had four children.
